How Often Should You Get a Facial…

This being the most asked question I get in relation to facials, what is the ideal facial frequency?

The ideal would be bi monthly, cost and time aside what is actually the best protocal for your skin. I always recomend {that} clients have facials once per month {because} nothing that you do at home can replace professional attention, also your skin will be doing different things at different times! depending on the season and how your lifestyle contributes to your current skin condition.

Once per month is the ideal time because our skin cell turnover cycle is approx every 28 days.

While there is a wide range of facial treatment options facials can be broken down into the following categories.

Chemical Peels – Perfect for skin exfoliation and deep cleaning the skin, also a great way to prep your skin for the more advanced facial procedures.

Micro – Needling – Perfect for speeding up the process of healing, renewing and repairing your skin.

Mesotherapy – Perfect for Skin rejuvenation by adding a cocktail of vitamins, minerals and amino acids to the skin that will in turn feed the dermis with 52 active ingredients that heal repair and replenish the molecular structure of your skin, think of this as food for the skin.

Profhilo – Perfect for increasing the vibrancy and elasticity of your skin, this treatment is best described as a bio-remodeller because the treatment stimulates the production of new collagen in the skin, so if your looking for that plumped – up result know that collagen is the main structural protien in our bodies and is responsible for that youthful skin glow regardless of age.

PRP – Vampire facial – Perfect if your looking for completely natural and exceptionally safe way to treat your skin, prp works by activating platelets that relaese growth factors from the granules in the platelets and the by introducing this plasma into the dermis.

As with any aesthetic facial treatments, it is vital that the procedure be carried out by a qualified, licenced and trained professional aesthetician who understand the various different treatment modalities and their place with regard to your present skin condition and the results that you are looking to achieve.
