what are fibroblasts?

Fibroblasts are the skin cells of connective tissue they are the only skin cells that can make type III (collagen)synthesis with the tougher type I (collagen) over a period of 12 weeks.

Type III and Type I collagen in the skin is what helps provide strength to our skins defense against fine lines, wrinkles, micro furrows and really helps our skins elasticity, suppleness and hydration.
